Have something done
Have something done is a sentence in the passive voice. have something done also can mean everything where other people are doing or provide a service to us. To know more clearly the intention of have something done see the following two examples :
- I cut my hair
- I have my hair cut
From both these examples there is a difference in the sense of the sentence.
In the example the first sentence I cut my hair, which means that I cut my hair, so the hair cutting was done by my own. In contrast to the example in the second sentence I have my hair cut, which means that someone has cut off my hair, which means I cut hair using the services of others or the hairdresser.
The formula for making sentences Have Something

For Example :
1. Tom is having Bill written the
report at the moment.
2. They are having their maid
cleaned their room right now.

painted by the workmen at the moment.

5. I have my jacket cleaned at a
laundry.
6. My English teacher had me give
oral speaking.
7. I got my friend to help this
homework.

for her.
